Sponsorship that actually shows up on race day.

Backd connects athletes with brands, then handles the unglamorous part: artwork, production, shipping and proof.

If you're an athlete

  1. 1

    Create a campaign

Choose your event, tell your story and set a funding goal. Your campaign goes live with a date attached.

  2. 2

    Price your placements

Upper arm, calf, race vest, bike frame, Instagram story — decide what's for sale and what each spot is worth.

  3. 3

    Approve the artwork

When a brand sponsors you, you see the logo and the exact placement before anything is printed.

  4. 4

    Race and share proof

Your tattoos arrive before the event. Afterwards, upload photos so sponsors see their logo on the day.

If you're a sponsor

  1. 1

    Find an athlete

Filter by sport, country, event date, budget and placement type until you find the right fit.

  2. 2

    Reserve a placement

Each placement lists its size, visibility, production method and shipping. Pick one and check out.

  3. 3

    Upload your logo

Drop in a PNG or SVG and see a mockup on the athlete straight away.

  4. 4

    We handle fulfilment

Print, quality check and tracked delivery to the athlete. You get proof photos after the event.

Questions we get a lot

Is this only for professional athletes?
No. Most campaigns come from age-group runners, triathletes and HYROX athletes with a race on the calendar.
What actually gets produced?
Body placements are printed as custom temporary tattoos sized to the spot. Clothing and equipment placements are applied to the athlete's own kit. Social placements are digital.
Who checks the event rules?
Each campaign shows what we know about the organizer's rules for body, clothing and equipment advertising. Where we can't verify it, we say so — always confirm with the event organizer.
How do payments work?
Checkout is simulated in this demo. No card is charged and no money moves.
